Server Migration
In our on-going attempts to improve our provision of services, we have migrated all our customer’s websites to a new web server.
The server is now based in London, rather than the USA. The new location will provide many advantages for our clients, both new and old:
- Faster loading of websites for UK-based visitors
- Improvement on our already high reliability
- Increased compliance with UK data protection regulation
- Increased visibility in Google’s regional ‘UK’ results
Google’s ‘Pages from the UK’ search facility returns results from sites either with a .co.uk extension or hosted in the UK. By offering a UK-hosted server environment, we can maximise the chances of your website being listed in Google’s regional UK results.
